Danyella Devino of Easthampton and Chris Dixon of Hadley came together originally on a project to delve into Devino's original songs. The two became instant friends with a natural comraderie, enabling them to collaborate almost effortlessly to realize their musical visions. Since 2005, Intonition has been on quite an enjoyable journey. Sharing the same zany sense of humour and tendency to get lost in joke mode, as well, as song, didn't hurt, either. There is something about not taking oneself too seriously that appeals to their overall musical philosophy ......What is now known as Intonition was born out of a sort of "two or a few minds are better than one" mentality!
The debut album "IN GOOD COMPANY" was released on July 22, 2007, and was long overdue as both Devino and Dixon had many originals in the can for years just waiting to unleash. Obstacles are no deterrent for these two, they work hard and let nothing hold back their creativity. The brother and sister team are looking towards what is next as the muse continues to flow freely. The "blueprint" for the second and third albums are complete and will feature various local musical guests to showcase an even bigger and edgier sound and is planned to be released late Autumn/early Winter 2008 at the latest. Devino and Dixon's co-writing has morphed into a new direction from the first album that will include more blues, rock, upbeat, and even funkier hues, with some classic flavours tossed in for added texture.
