Into the Pensieve is a wizard rock band from Edmond, Oklahoma. Inspired by such greats as the Whomping Willows, Harry and the Potters, and the the Remus Lupins, they seek to redefine wizard rock. They enjoy rocking out and singing songs about the best books ever written (Harry Potter), while trying to truly unite listeners with the characters from the story. They seek to promote literacy and spread their music for everyone to hear. If you enjoy the Harry Potter series, they hope that you'll find their songs humorous while still enjoying the music. If you do not read the series, they hope that you'll just appreciate the music.
They have just finished recording their first album, Gather Your Thoughts. The CD is now for sale and select songs from it are on their myspace. The songs from the album will be rotated in and out with each other, so keep checking back and enjoy. Get ready!

All proceeds are going to be sent to the Lesbian and Gay Fund of Colorado. So far, we've made plenty of money, but it's worth it to try to earn more! At my school, I am going to have a fundraiser in order to support the LGBT. (If you don't know what that means, it's the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender parties.) A few days ago was the Day of Silence, and I think it's a great kick off for this fundraiser. People are highly influenced by the power of music, and by the power of books. What does that mean? Wizard Rock. We are going to have a large get together where we are playing Wizard Rock music, watching Harry Potter, etc. All the money we earn is going to be donated to support these groups of people. If any of you have any clothing merchandise, or new - and affordable - c.d. 's, please message me, so I can purchase them from you and we can auction them off at this event! THANK YOU!

I love your CD! It's awesome! "Confessions of the Half-Blood Prince" is hilarious. It's a great alternative ending for Deathly Hallows, lol. One thing that's been bugging me though is that I can't figure out what characters "Don't Say Goodbye" is about. I guess I can't understand all the lyrics and it's probably really obvious, but which characters is that song about?
oh my god thank you soooooo much for approving my friend request. i think it is amazing what all wizard bands do.... i have been sooooooooo inspired ever since i heard of harry and the potters! so right now i am trying to work on making a wizard band of my own.... its a bit harder than i thought, but none the less it is worthwhile. long story short, thanks!

We especially love 'confessions of the Prince' - it may be our favourite song atm :) so congratulations on being under-appreciated song of the week, you totally deserve it!
