The Shelter is a French pop/rock/electronic band from Paris, created in 2006 by Clément Jousselin and Louis Jolly, two friends from high school. They fisrt spent a few month covering some song by their favorite artists like Depeche Mode, Mika, Starsailor, and other pop/rock/electronic styles artists. As they mastered more and more their instruments, mainly synthesizers, and musical programming, they started recording songs from their creations, first of all Angel of Night, followed by Growing Pain and Serenity en 2007, Majeistic, Midnight Thoughts and Dreams of a Better World in 2008.
They were joigned in 2008 by Nicolas Kerjosse (guitar) and Valentin Kalt (drums).
The Shelter est un groupe pop/rock/electro français, originaire de la région parisienne, qui a vu le jour début 2006, à l'initiative de Clément Jousselin, et Louis Jolly, deux amis de lycée à Paris. Ils ont tout d'abord passé plusieurs mois à reprendre des morceaux de leur artistes favoris, tels que Depeche Mode, Mika, Starsailor, et d'autres artistes des styles rock, pop, et électronique. Au fur et à mesure que leur maniement des instruments, notamment le synthétiseur, et de la programmation musicale s'accroissait, ils commencèrent à créer des morceaux de leur composition, le premier en date étant Angel of Night, suivi de Growing Pain et Serenity en 2007, et Majeistic, Midnight Thoughts et Dreams of a Better World en 2008.
Ils furent rejoints en 2008 par Nicolas Kerjosse à la guitare, et Valentin Kalt à la batterie.

One we have given you a sneak preview of (below) is a radical combo of Rihanna with an infusion of Peter, Bjorn and John. Rebooted, filtered, animated, shaken, cut, pasted, shown to the dawg who barked his disapproval, and smashed with a great hammer, deconstructed and turned into Young Folks with Umbrella. Another newey mixes Coldplay and Kraftwerk and if that's not enough there's a new tune called Scooby Mama which moulds Fun Lovin Criminals to a Scissor Sisters. Watch out for our SeX DwArF v The Cure v Tori Amos tune which is almost ready to be unleashed. We would also recommend the Lauryn Hill v Marvin Gaye fusion. If it don't move ya yo dead.
