Attracted to the city by the lure of greener pastures, this group of bush musicians have come together to form 'Introduced Species'. Based at Brisbane, Australia, they now gather to fuse and create their own unique style of sounds. With Geoff Turnbull on Vocals and Guitars, who also holds a unique style as a solo artist, blastsoff with intense grooves locked in by Anton on the Bass laying a rich foundation of thick rhythms and Jerrams pounding, tribal tight beats. Also joining the troop you will find an array of other musicians introduced to play along side Introduced Species to make a never to forget Show.
The result is smooth rhythms, rich in percussion, with dancing guitars combining acoustic and electric sounds and hair-raising effects. Within the musical flow of the species sound the vocal duo of Jerram and Geoff, rise and captures the atmosphere generated. Through soloing storms, haunting, quite beautiful beginnings and almighty ends Introduced Species will please and intrigue those exposed. With 2 EPs being available through the live gigs, Geoff has also recorded various solo albums and also some recordings with his Turnbull Brothers all available from Geoff Turnbull.
