  • Bio

.......... ev•o•lu•tion (ev'?-loo'sh?n, e'v?-) n. A gradual process in which something changes into a different and usually more complex or better form. The definition describes both the transformation of the pop-rock quintet Introspect, and the hesitantly expressive full length debut album, Evolutionary. The search for the perfect makeup ended four years ago when two core original members and three tenured musicians, formerly of TVT Recording Artist Pay The Girl, joined forces to become the long standing face of Introspect. Their work on an original album, though a tedious process, began immediately. An evolution of emotion, both lyrically and musically, the record progresses from guilt and depression to resolution and readjustment. Sensitive and honest vocals by singer Aaron Chalcraft paired with soothing and at times rigid melodies, illustrate a familiar journey of self awareness. Appealing to indie, rock, and pop fans alike, Evolutionary combines the creative writing process of the band members with the professional mixing of Geoff Ott of London Bridge Studio in Seattle, WA, whose previous experience includes working with the likes of Nickelback and 3 Doors Down. Evolutionary is a hook-laden album, with thick layers of instrumentation and a truly organic rock base that captures any listening audience with its memorable and relatable lyrics. Classic and unique at the same time, it is truly a journey from start to finish. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..
