INVALID DEBRIS is an original and thought provoking new film about love, friendship and revenge by The Young Persons' Theatre Company which examines the chain of events leading to a young man’s death at the hands of a gang and the psychological and emotional consequences for all involved. This gripping and emotionally charged story asks the question is truth simply a matter of perspective.....

The tone and look of the film relies heavily on the differences of a few basic themes; the obliviousness of people who move through London detached from their surroundings. In particular violent events that go unnoticed in the middle of a conditioned society where altering perspectives diminish the brutality of the event. Colourful backdrops of younger days give way to dark, moody and insipid arguments to punctuate the almost sickening altering perspectives.
YPTC is a training theatre and film company for young people aged 18 to 27. We have staged three original new musicals, two short films, two music videos, two documentaries and one trailer since our inception in 2003 and our work has attracted artists such as Sir Derek Jacobi and John Hurt as well as drawing the attention of Andrew Lloyd Webber, the BBC and ITV.
