Frontman Elli True states: "We wish Tyler well on his new endeavour and thank him for all of his hard work and dedication to the band. Alex, Pat and I will carry on with the name and spirit which is INVERMIER for all our fans out there. We will continue working hard in the studio as well as searching for a new drummer so we can get out and do what we do best."

***INVERMIER HAS BEEN OFFERED AND ACCEPTED A CORE REVOLT ARTIST DEAL BY Dirtbag Records, Inc. (DBM)*** The band has signed the contract Saturday, March 6th in Toronto. Further information from DBM will be forthcoming on their website.
Invermier began in the winter of 2006 when band members Elli True, Paten Poundin, Alex Hawn and Tyler Reiner came together through both mutual friendship and past musical endeavours. Tyler, Pat and Alex had played in bands together through their teen years; they played well together, however, the sound always sounded as though it was missing something. The discovery of Elli, who plays lead guitar, sings and writes a great deal of the material for Invermier was the final piece needed to bring the group together. Since Elli's addition to the group four years ago, they have written over twenty 'record worthy' songs, and have developed a fully choreographed, eleven song live set list.
Invermier is a four-piece band comprising of Drums (Tyler Reiner), Bass (Paten Poundin), Rhythm Guitar/Vocals (Alex Hawn) and Lead Guitar/Vocals (Elli True). The sound from the band can be described as gritty, 80's metal, pop punk, punk, metal or even just straight rock 'n' roll. The bands draws influence from a myriad of sources to produce their unique sound, teasing many pallets of the musical spectrum, but incorporating an incredibly notable and recognizable timbre that can be easily noted as 'Invermier'.
Each member of the band brings a different musical element to the Invermier sound stemming from influence, style preference, musical training, history and past experience. Tyler is the offspring of metal legend Robb Reiner, so the direct influence of his fathers drumming and style preference is clearly evident in his drumming, however, he is also an avid fan of hardcore, punk, jazz and hip-hop style drumming, (some of his direct influences being Buddy Rich and Travis Barker) which he incorporates in every song Invermier has written, giving his drumming an incredibly well rounded sound that adapts to any style of chorus, verse or breakdown. In the rhythm section, Pat plays a new school style of bass, utilizing the classic Fender tone mixed with a preference of picking that creates a cutting rhythmic feel to his bass playing, he has been influenced by everyone from Motley Crue to Avenged Sevenfold in his high energy style of play that allows the rhythm to carry the groove of a song. Pat comes from a large family of musicians that have helped him hone his craft and help develop the Invermier sound. Alex takes influence from such artists as Rage Against the Machine, Norma Jean and Dallas Green, incorporating these styles in both guitar playing and vocals to illustrate a very unique style. His chugging rhythmic patterns are conducive to any 80's or 90's metal band, however much of the technicalities of Tom Morello can also be heard. Alex is an RCM trained singer, pianist and guitar player. Elli is also a formally trained singer, guitar player and pianist and hails from a long family history of musicians who have been of great help to his musical development. He draws influence from many sources, some of which being Iron Maiden, Motley Crue and even New Found Glory, his style of writing can be clearly linked to a blend of 80's Metal and Pop Punk, he displays crushing leads, singing solos and even crunching rhythms at times through his guitar playing. Elliot's style of writing stems from past experience, popular culture and pure emotion that can be clearly felt while listening to him play and sing.
Invermier has had a great deal of experience in the studio, which has proven to produce some extremely high quality songs that are just waiting to be re-recorded. The band has worked in such facilities as Harris Institute, Robeter Productions and Iguana Recording, working with such producers as John Nazzaro and Dave Power. Because of this exposure, the band has learned all the inner workings of the recording process and have developed a fine ear for what sounds right in the studio, which will help greatly when helping produce their debut album... As important as studio experience is, it is the amount of experience the band has on the stage that truly sets them apart in terms of showmanship and musicality. In their short tenure, the band has played live over one hundred times, creating a great deal of stage chemistry amongst the band, an incredibly tight sound and has awarded them a strong following. The band has played some notable gigs in the past that should be mentioned, they include:
