Giggers KL proudly brings to you MICRO Music Battle Of The Bands 2009.
UP and coming bands could get their first big break by entering this Competition.
The contest is open to bands and soloists aged between 13 and above and entry forms are available now from the Micro Music Network Office @Pauls Place, Jln Klang Lama, Micro Music Myspace URL @ www.myspace.com/microgear or GIggers KL Myspace URL @ www.myspace.com/giggerskualalumpur. Intrested parties also can get the forms by hand by texting or calling Mika @ 016 265 0379.
Entrance Fees For Each Bands Are RM100.00 Payable to To BOB Organiser Micro Music Network Via Maybank2U, Cash or Cheque. Payment Last Date corespond to the final entry date.
Each Bands To Prepare 2 Songs For The Heats. We strongly recomend Originals, but we allow Bands who wants to do Cover songs. However, The Bands should register the sing name on the form with complete details of artiste and lyrics of the covered songs.
4 Bands From Each Heat wil be choosed to Play on The Finals.
The final date for entries is Sunday, July 26th 2009 and heats will be held at Paul's Place, Jln Klang Lama on Wednesday, August 5th, Thursday 6th August and Friday 7th AUgust. The final will be on Sunday, August 9th, At Pauls Place.
The Top Prize for the best band is an (4 Songs)EP Recording in a professional recording studio worth RM1,400.00. A Competent Audio Engineer will be overseeing the entire recording process. There will also be additional prizes for best composition and the ever popular audience vote.
Second Price Winners take Home A Set Of Music Instrument worth RM600.00 consist of Guitar and a Bass.
Third Price is Cash RM350.00.
