Thank you for the add. My partner (girlfriend/wife-if-it-were-legal) totally enjoy your zine compilations. She will be super jazzed that you are working on a graphic novel. Woo! Thank you for your words and drawings. They make us feel less alone. Based on what little I know about you, you might dig my band… we deal with some topics that overlap with what you write about… Well, thank you, and take care, Kara (1/2 of Team Smile and Nod)
i think you were still inside the phone booth when i was verbally hate-crimed for holding your zine on the sidewalk at 2am! this hipster asked me for a smoke and when i said i didnt smoke he retaliated with "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU? A ZINESTER? IS THAT A.. ZINEEE?? OHH MY GODDDDDD" ..it was an amazing moment, i'm sorry you had to miss it.
'Spectacular Preserves' looks terrific. Do you know if any of the portraits are available to view online, seen as I'm too ridiculously far away to see in the flesh? Hmmm, "flesh" may have just become my favourite word of the day! Melanie xox
that blonde girl with the back-pack on your hijacked webpage is totally not hot, and looking at her makes me want to take a nap. i was hoping that maybe someone really hot was responsible. now we know the truth.
