In Virtue is like Calvinball. The only rule is, the rules have to be different every time.
In Virtue formed in 2004 at Sonoma State University when four
friends with a love for fast and heavy music recruited a lady to
sing lead. Soon the In Virtue sound was born, a blend of
finely composed melodic power metal and death metal.
After recording a three song demo in fall 2005, In Virtue has
concentrated efforts on the completion of an EP in 2008. Delusions of Grandeur combines our many influences set to lush arrangements to craft a unique and recognizable sound. In Virtue endeavors to blend catchy melody and anthemic choruses with aggressive energy and brutal symmetry to create balanced musical fusion.
We can be seen playing all over the North Bay with the
likes of Zero Hour, Conducting From The Grave, Sarcoma, Blood Red, Near Life, Ancient at Birth, Shitstorm, Ashen Idol, and others.
