Eyelid/Fetish - the Debut Album by eNuminous & Archimedes
No doubt, it's strange. No reviewer yet (and this is a subtle challenge) has said anything nice about this sound. We call it music, but what of it? It's a bunch of sounds, generated by a machine, with the occasional (heavily edited and re-sampled to heck and back) guitar, with the occasional vocal stylings of Sacramento poet Matthew Chenoweth Wright. Eyelid/Fetish, on Matthew's nonexistent record label, invisible caterpillar media, is the album that is launching his solo career as an avant-garde performance artist, musician, and general ne'er-do-well muckraker, besides being the rock star he's always been. It's Not Music For Sane Persons, our second launch, will be up soon on CDBaby, etc. Still fine tuning it, but you can find a copy or two in Sacramento. Check the Beat or R5.
Important update as of 11/1/08: We got radio play last week on KDVS. We must be legit. Talked to the dj there, he said nice things. Thanks guys!!!
Wow.
Upcoming will be Klingon Rock, and a movie deal or two.
The downloadable stuff is intended for free distribution and enjoyment. However, if you really want to just buy the album, it's unfortunately not up yet on Kunaki. A note to the public: make sure to read the fine print and know what you are getting into when you publish music online. We have to upload each album to the publisher and then at least one unit must be sold each 180 days for the service to keep it. We understand the demands of the machine. We wouldn't be in business making music available to the masses if we didn't Snicker snicker. It's been a very interesting experience, one for a book (coming soon. Any book publishers wanting information about my outline and ideas for said book, i'm findable. lol.
Kunaki.com offers an automated CD and DVD factory to musicians and other recording artists.
You CAN buy the album at our store on Lulu.com, where we also have a fine selection of Calendars and Books.
