Well, it is time for round two in trying to bring awareness to the humantarian crisis that is happening in Northern Uganda.
On Semptember the 23rd Gulu Walk will be held in the city. Gulu Walk is a one-day worldwide event focused on raising awareness and support for the terrorised children in northern Uganda. We will be walking 7km's to simulate the walk of child night commuters in Northern Uganda.
Time - 3pm start(arrive by 2.30pm)
Where - The walk will commence at Beaufort Park, corner of Beaufort Street and Drummond Street, Bedford (close to Grand Prom and Beaufort St intersection). Walk down Beaufort St towards town, around Northbridge and conclude at ASeTTs (Association for Survivors of Torture and Trauma) near the corner of Beaufort and Brisbane Streets. You do not need to do the whole walk – you can meet along the way – just make sure you are around at the end!

Okay, it is all starting tomorrow. . . and here is what i have decided - before we can open our hearts or minds, first we have to open our eyes . . . so we look forward to seeing you during the week, where we can all play a part in making these invisible children seen. How cool is that!!
