Influences
I must say, first my Wife for her backing and being there when thing's are not quite going the way I planned, then my Father and Uncle, for they were two Brother's who had different live's yet never did they stop trying to be the best at what they did,and my mother who back's me with her Have a Great show and tho they all weren't into music but it made me stand strong & in this willing to go past the stage of Cover's, and use my talent to create for myself and against all odd's, Stick to it!
Sounds Like
Don't really want to sound like anyone but ourselves. There are so many cover tune Group's, and a lot of them sound like each other, and I have nothing against Cover bands, but In Visible Ink would like to be a band that someone would like to do OUR music as cover's one day.
Hello to all who come here. Let me introduce us. We are In Visible Ink and we are a Pre-Cover Tune Group. For those who don't know what this means, we are an All Original Music Group located in Merritt Island, Florida. The reason for the Pre-Cover Tunes is that we do hope to hear some of our song's played by other Group's or Artists. I am not going to try to sell you a CD or anything we have but after checking us out it will be up to only you to see if what we have what you like to hear! My name is Bob Lambert, and at the age of 45 I had a heart attack in 2001. I started this Original music with a great friend, Chad Nation who wrote the song Sympathedic Whore, Movin' On, and helped me with In Visible Ink, but he went back home and I did not hear from him for a long time. Now, out of the blue, he makes contact. So now I have the chance to say Thank you Chad for all your help! I was then joined by a friend Steve Neece who plays bass and then by my drummer Todd Chagnon. As we traveled through Florida doing open mic's and battle's against much younger group's we did very well, but struggled to get a fan base.In 2006 my wife got Breast Cancer and i sold just about ever thing i had music wize from all my recording Makie stuff,to my bass,Banjo, every thing but my 12 string and 2 six string just to help out But In the year 2007 we met Doyle Hewitt to play lead, so we set out again to do what we could to get heard. Our previous lead player we had since 2005, Steve Eldridge moved on. Now If we played Cover's, we would have made a lot more money than we have, but I can't get past this Original music and I push it as much as I can to all who will listen. Our Fan's are growing daily and we even have people dancing & singing at our gigs, and kids in the crowd dancing up a storm. Original music is not as easy as covers to get heard, but remember that all cover tunes were once Originals, so just maybe even you will like some of our songs. But now we enter 2009 and alot took place with In Visible Ink in 2008 but we are now tighter and worry free.
And we are about to enter into a different mood of music so watch out for something different from us old Original Guy's. Think Ink-In Visible Ink.
