Broken headlights! And so they are hauling ass through the sunset back pothole roads in a broken clutch pickup truck with a dead deer strapped to the dented roof. Punching the knobbles stick shift forward and watching the windshield wipers create a crimson rainbows from the leaking red fluid. Nothing broken about this duo, these two minimal explorers are on a much needed rock re-affirmation binge that unapologetically sabotages the masses of play-by-the-numbers-every-time bland bands. The songs are transitional risk taking improvisational manifestos that consist of real spontaneous contemporary issue laden vocal barks, grunts and screams, chalkboard scrapping maxed transistor guitar amplified cat in heat cries and primal pounding drums like a heavy drunken college chick dancing on an overturned burning car. Fresh, no polished anti-nostalgic pioneers challenging the predictable beautiful rock arrangement establishment.
