“It stands to reason that where there’s sacrifice, there’s someone collecting sacrificial offerings. Where there's service, there's someone being served. The man who speaks to you of sacrifice speaks of slaves and masters and intends to be master.” A.R.

Subverting the dominant paradigm. Reading, writing, lifting weights, camping and hiking in the mountains, my dog Mr. Beebs-cocker spaniel extraordinaire. Studying life patterns and gathering a better understanding of how we have been brainwashed into servitude.
Music
There's good music in almost every genre, except for country and bad rap. Some of my favorites are Beethoven, Bach, Vivaldi, Mozart, Nine Inch Nails, Bad Religion, VNV Nation, Radiohead, New Order, Wolfsheim, My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult, KMFDM, Violent Femmes, The Cult, The Cure, Depeche Mode, The 69 Eyes, Bauhaus, Peter Murphy, The Smiths, Front 242, Oasis, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Les Claypool, Alice in Chains, The Smithereens, Nirvana, Revolting Cocks, Orgy, Johnny Cash, Chris Isaak, Three Blue Teardrops, The Church, Wanda Jackson, Cat Stevens, Simon & Garfunkel, Caifanes, The Cruxshadows, The White Stripes and many others. I don't watch television at all but the music must be on for me to live.
Movies
Clockwork Orange, Matrix, Fight Club, Harold And Maude, Y Tu Mama Tambien, City Of God, Requiem Of A Dream, Metropolis, Logan's Run, Blade Runner, Donnie Darko, The Hunger, Rocky Horror Picture Show and many others. Support Independent Film.
Television
No Thanks. Why is there always room for the idiot box and none for Art? Some of my favorite artists: Vincent Van Gogh, El Greco, HG Giger, Michaelangelo, Frieda Kahlo, Andy Warhol, Luis Royo and many others. Artists of all mediums are the beat of life.
We are Eternal!
Books
Yes and lots of them. Did you know MIT offers all their courses free online? You can even download the books themselves-google MIT free courseware. Some of my favorites are: A Brief History Of Time by Stephen Hawking, Singularity Is Near by Ray Kurzweil, On The Road by Jack Kerouac, The Prince by Niccolo Machavelli, Don Quijote by Miguel Cervantes, The Divine Comedy by Dante Alligheri, Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain, Walden Or Life In The Woods by Henry Thoreau, Leaves Of Grass by Walt Whitman, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, The Book Of Secrets by Deepak Chopra and many, many others.
Heroes
Those who have liberated their minds and think for themselves. We are not slaves. We are spiritual beings having a human experience. This cannot be bought or sold.

Well, I'm glad that my comment may spark your interest in writing again.
Sometimes that's all it takes.
What are you taking at CU?
I'm more busy than I've even been right now. I also have a blog where I write my self-deprecating, sarcastic philosophy and psychology (kingofdeprecation.blogspot.com) and now I'm in full gear finishing up the 3rd album, creating new graphics, websites, marketing outlines, merchandise and more. So much to do, and all so worth it.
