Band MembersCage was born in 1975, in New York. Not in that fabled city that never sleeps per se, but rather one that slept, and continues to sleep, frequently...located some considerable distance upstate and to the west. After an early interest in ancient elemental chemistry and the effects of time-release placebos on the transient and indigenous provided no clear cut results, Cage then turned his focus and attention toward the economics of theology, the philosophy of state-sponsored anarchy and the electric guitar. Opting to forego a lucrative, yet soul-deadening existence as a corporate drone/cubicle-filler, Cage eventually allowed the electric guitar to rightfully win out and thus the spark that would be Invisigoth was spawned. Once paired with Viggo Domino, that vision was cemented. Cage now resides in Buffalo, NY where he owns a recording studio and composes music for corporate drones and cubicle-fillers.~~~ Viggo Domino was born in 1977, in Rome. Soon thereafter, his family moved to New York City so that his father could open a butcher shop on the upper east side of Manhattan.  After studying music and fine art at NYU and in Siena, Viggo became interested in the philosophy and history of antiquity. In order to pursue these interests, Viggo embarked on an extended holiday to the middle east.  Here, he discovered the dark arts, esoteric philosophy, and Arabic music.  Under the tutelage of Anwar Kahlil, he furthered these interests and somehow incorporated his earlier training in opera and classical music.  After returning to the US, he decided to pursue a career in music and voice.  Discovering he had much in common with an old friend, Cage, the pair decided to record an album that would meld these disparate styles together as one cohesive force. Thus was born, Invisigoth!  Viggo now resides in Buffalo, NY where he owns a recording studio and also composes music for film and TV.

   About Invisigoth
Forged by a shared interest in esoteric philosophy, the philosophy of hedonism in antiquity, and a lust for musical experimentation - especially through composition and chemistry; Cage and Viggo Domino became bonded over clinical trials involving the psychotropics ayahuasca and salvia conducted in their own studio/laboratory.  After results indicating the rather solipsistic notion that neither of them truly exists, the two psychic pioneers retreated to their fall back position - whereby pleasure in the sensory world became their prime directive.  Music (and a good deal of libation) became the central players in this existential resignation.??~~~With new inspirations literally in hand, Cage and Viggo decided to construct a musical statement with authentic, albeit primal, vision and purpose.  Invisigoth became that animation incarnate.  A concept for an album was culled from their tormented experiences and research.  Entitled, "Alcoholocaust", the record explores the trials and tribulations of both protagonists in their search, and eventual discovery, of their artistic, animal, and rather Roman, natures.~~~ Recorded in 2006, the record reveals, at the same time, a prodigious and profound respect and iconoclasm for the music that it post-dates. Some call it “progressive metal” or “art rock”, yet Invisigoth transcends these attempted reductions and speaks for itself – all the while echoing the revelation of the antique and exotic that is the hallmark of their singular, yet universal, expression.

Hi Invisigoth. Thanks a lot for the friendship. I have found your song "Shine on" on a sampler of the german music magazine "Empire". Brilliant slow song with earwig harmonies. Yes, well done. So, stay well, all the best for your future and best wishes from Germany/Lüneburg.
