Invocation was founded 'round 2000 as Altar of Sacrifice and later Defaced. The only founder member..s which left over were Basti and Eric from the early line-up. After a lot of personal changes about the guitar-section and especially the vocal parts Felix came round about 2003 as the new constant bassplayer. Loosing an old friend and second guitarist from the oldest days on, Christoph, who left the band for studying 'music' in another town, we were searching the whole time until 2005 for a new and competent second guitarplayer. In this year we met Christian which was really a good join for us. When the time was come for the second recordings for new promotion stuff, at 2007, our early vocalist, Chris from 'Men at Arms' left the band about his deficiencies. At this time we were looking around since a while for new musicians and found also Martin (Morbid Enema (R.I.P.), MassiveKilling, Cesspool a.o.). In the early 2010 Martin left and a new sin of exhale must be found. So Chris (actually member of Mimosis) grows up to Stage and completes our "Line Up"... Since that days, and the recordings that were satisfying, we looking forward,working hard on new material for entering the stage again... .. .... .... .... .... ........ .... -
