About Iona Bain

Thanks for visiting my page! NEWS: Relauch coming soon - a new full length EP will be released before the end of this year, with guest performers! The track listings are set to be: YET Stranger in the Room Common Sense Love this Love Wish and some more! 04/08: I have a four track demo, entitled "Iona Bain" which you can buy for just £4 - just email me on myspace or iona.bain@chch.ox.ac.uk. Some of the tracks are acoustic and some are produced on my keyboard and it gives a good indication of what I'm about... About me: I'm a musician from Edinburgh and I have been on myspace since the 1st January last year, although I've been writing songs a lot longer than that. I have done numerous wee gigs in Edinburgh with my band and have also performed at Wadstock Music Festival at Oxford University, where I currently study music. I have been played on BBC Radio Oxford and have had my demos highly rated by oxfordbands.com. I relocate to Glasgow next year (I will be getting myself stuck into the fantastic Glasgow music scene and doing an MLitt at Glasgow Uni in Popular Music Studies) and hope to do lots of recording and gigging projects.
