Dave Pomerantz spent the better part of a decade combing the country, looking for the best possible band members for his music. His travels lead him to Seattle and the Emerald City did not disappoint. First came Jeff Lund, a wielder of keys so prolific, all who hear his playing are left slackjawed and weak in the knees. Next, Seven de Luxe was found, a bassist that can only be described as "larger than life." The only thing more over the top than Seven's playing, is his mullet. The three of them heard that a man, previously believed to be but a myth was living in the city, so they got him to play drums. His name? Simply Murdock. With his speed constantly set to "go time," Murdock makes no apologies and plays his drums with a fury unmatched. Finally, after searching the entire country of America for the proper lead guitarist, the intrepid crew turned to Britain's own Brandon Morris. With a specialization in all things "shredding" Brandon can take care of your guitar licks and your sensitive financial statements before you can blink, and he'll look good doing it. These five now have come together to bring the music to you and me and the world. If you see them, thank them.
hey guys, just wanted to say how awesome it was to play with you last night. your music is killer, and you have such a unique, refreshing sound. we're looking forward to reuniting for the Comet show in July. best wishes.
Thanks a lot. I was checking out your page and we have similar influences. Have you every heard or the Australian band, The Swingers? The were a short lived band from the early eighties. The singer went on to be in Split Enz and The bass player was Bones Hillman from my all time favorite band, Midnight oil. Anyway, pretty cool stuff. They are also featured in this really awesome Australian movie from 1981 called "Starstruck". Check it out. Thanks again!
