Ionian are a 5-piece, Cumbria-based Alternative Rock Band. They play a mixture of covers and original music, and have just finished their debut album which is now available to buy online at CD unsigned. Please click on the links below to order!
The band formed after Kiefer and Jamie left their previous band (after artistic differences). Jamie moved school to Keswick, where he met Sophie and her brother John. After a couple of jam sessions together, they decided to start Ionian.

Ionian's blend of Neo-Prog and Alternative rock stangely compliment each other to give a unique but raw sound, although likened to such bands as Audioslave and Pink Floyd, Ionian's sound is like no other that you have heard before.
But please, don't take our word for it! Ionian have recently been lucky enough to get a review in the national rock music magazine "Rock n' Reel". ok.....we are the best alternative artist 2007 and bla bla bla..., we will play in Hollywood the 19th June for the HOLLYWOOD FAME AWARDS...we are arranging a Japan and China TOUR....so....if in the next six months we are not VERY VERY famous...I will personally (I am the drummer) bring you the newspaper and the breakfast directely in you BEDROOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.....then...if you are a male I can go immediately away...if you are a female....I will stay for....2 minutes?!??!?!...DOH!!!!
ve lo dico anche in Italiano...allora...siamo miglior alternative band 2007...suoneremo ospiti agli HOLLYWOOD FAME AWARDS....ho fatto una sorta di scommesa con gli altri membri della band....se nel giro di sei mesi non saremo famosi..ma veramente FAMOSI.......vi portero' la colazione ed il giornale direttamente a letto!!!....mi sono fottuto stavolta!

Hey guys, Thought I'd visit seen as I haven't done in quite some time...how disgraceful, Loving the stuff people, tonight part 1 & 2 are brilliant, very soothing.
