Subject: IPAA Nominees and ISSUES****
I want to say to all nominees, that this is NOT an amateur contest of any kind, this is a awards program of acknowledgment to all of you and to be recognized by all your peers. Those that work hard as a professional or non professional. We were blasted by so many for having all of you voting , simply stating it was a popularity contest.
Well, it is NOT, to ensure absolute fairness for all involved, it was decided that a panel of Judges, that do not know the majority of all the nominees will judge based on MERITS, CONTRIBUTION, and each nominee will be considered based on the category he/she has been nominated in. This by no means has been a simple program.
This is our first year and a learning curve at it's best. I hope sincerely from my heart that all of you will join, participate and enjoy. Becoming a nominee is an honor, an acknowledgment from all your peers that your one of the hard working, dedicated individuals or groups that pursue your dreams of the UNKNOWN. There is allot that goes on behind the scenes here for a successful program and allot of dedication to show our appreciation for all you do.
We are professionally managed now, and that feat, in itself was no easy task, asking spirit to help team us up with a highly respected management team to more forward in a respectful way that ALL of you deserve and the Paranormal deserves!
I hope that all will support this wonderful new endeavor and move forward to a wonderful event this fall and carry the tradition in the ensuing years.
