I Promised The Pacific was a product of a group of friends from the Baltimore Maryland area whom of which have known each other for what it seems like could be forever. They banded together to write and record music that they were very passionate about. You could tell just by the intensity of their live performances that they were consumed by the music they wrote. They pushed on through the odds and reached the goals that they had set out for. Brian, Dave Jesse Wes and Mark started the band in the spring of 2002 formerly named Stars Turn Cold, and with numerous modifications to the line up, I Promised The Pacific was born. They have logged countless miles, hours, fast food, gallons of gasoline and hardships. They toured, played with tons of big acts, and even played the final Hellfest in 2004. Our final tour ended in North Carolina when our van brokedown leaving us stranded and with low spirits. In the aftermath some members have moved on to different musical projects and other just have moved on completely. Regardless of what happened in this band, we want to thank everybody who ever helped us, in any way, shape or form. Thank you and maybe we'll see you around.
