i'm so proud! It's not about discrimination. No one wants to discriminate gays or lesbians. It's about the sacredness of marriage. Why can't you people let us hold the sacredness of marriage (that has been going on for about 5000 years) between a man and a woman? Why does that bother you so much? It's the fabric of our society. That's all Prop 8 is about. Not hate or discrimination, but something a lot of people hold as sacred.

Huge turn out today in OC. 100's of supporters gathered at every intersection along Pacific Coast Hwy spanning from Seal Beach to San Clemente. I'd say 95% of cars honked and waved in support of prop 8! Keep up the pressure people!
i have faith in california because if 61 percent of the voters said no to gay marriage they will say it again..and now all the 17 years olds...that couldnt vote then..can vote now...and lets pray that they will vote yes on 8!!!!
In Massachusetts where same sex marriage is now legal, a kindergartner came home with a "diversity bag" containing a booklet introducing same sex households.
Parents went to school and requested notification prior to such teaching and the opportunity to opt-out. School administration refused stating that same sex marriage was now legal, therefore, schools had no legal obligation to provide any such accommodations to parents.
David Parker, father of the kindengartner, demanded that their rights as parents be respected when it came to teaching their child same sex marriage. In response, he was arrested, handcuffed and taken to jail.
