I read lots of books. History books and stuff by Mark Twain, Larry McMurtry, and Carl Sagan are among my favorites. I never thought it would happen to me, but somehow I became an avid reader. Looking at it from the outside TV seems much better... who knew? I've also found relaxing with a good book on tape, an Irish Coffee (w/ Jamison's), and a Monticristo No2 is a hell of a way to relax.
As for mags, I think every house in America should have a copy of the Skeptial Inquirer, Discovery, and The Scientific American; in that order.
I also think Oprah should be taken off the air just for recomending "The Secret." Also, as a side note, she should be thrown in jail on charges of crimes against humanity for finding "Dr. Phil." The same goes for Montell for having that grizzled bitch Sylvia Brown on his show and even suggesting the idea people could have ESP. This was supposed to be about what books I like wasn't it?
Sorry, read "Captain Stormfields Trip To Heaven" and "Letters from the Earth" if you haven't. I enjoyed them very much.
Hey man, Thanks for the friend request. It was great to finally work with you and I hope to cross paths again. Thanks too for the beers & gang raping. Ace
yesterday i spent a fairly long amount of time having a conversation about how fricken funny you are and it suddenly dawned on me that no one's ever had or will have that kind of conversation behind my back about me so im just posting this compliment to you in order to let you know that i am mad at you, for being the reason i came to that harsh realization about life
Hey funny man! How are you? When I got back from this deployment you need to come to Tampa and do a show!!! You're one of the funniest stand-ups I've seen.......
Great weekend, my friend! Thanks for the laughs and the drinks!! I'm off to Chicago in a few weeks, but I'll be heading back East a lot I'm sure. Go with God, young soldier! See you next time!
