MySpace a place for friends

I was trained in classical music at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and in recording engineering at Columbia University. I have been the singer/songwriter for several local bands and have performed at venues throughout the area.

In my day job as a journalist, I write about music for leading periodicals like Rolling Stone (see my writing website). I also run a blog on healing from chronic pain. It's been profiled in The New York Times.

My relationships with editors at leading periodicals can come in candy, if this new incarnation of the band chooses to pursue any kind of public recognition. The most important thing to me, however, is to be playing music again with some awesome people.
