We dig on anything that has Heart/Soul and Compasion for the art-form of music.
Irene Gonzales was our grandmother. She inspired and encouraged. She had passion for life, and loved us unconditionally. All three of us had been playing and performing at an early age. Oscar and I had been in bands together, and always felt a musical bond. We started Jamming with our younger brother Hector, and even though our influences and styles weren't the same, we liked what was coming out. IRENE became our name without debate. In part as a tribute to the person our grandmother was. In part because we were deep into what we where doing. We had bands in the past, but this was it. All or nothing, into the unknown creating and pushing ourselves and our music. We will not relent.
Dan Oviedo (guitar/vocals)
