We are Ireyerta, a band that started out with only Craig and Nathan; Nathan playing guitar and Craig playing drums. Nathan had been in a band prior to this one. He had been in the infamous Crossbreed with Daniel Ferrell, Allen Smith, and Anthony Bryant. He played lead guitar in Crossbreed. Crossbreed was sort of punk/rock/emo/gay and we will never speak of it again. Nathan and Craig continued their crusade with hopes of emerging as a solid well-rounded band. They recruited Spencer Ayers who had played bass for a little while and started rocking out with him. After they had Spencer, they went back and rounded up Daniel. He joined the band as the singer/rhythm guitarist. Soon after that a friend of Nathan's, Cody Hutchison, was added to the band because of his amazing screaming vocals. The band soon informed Daniel that they wanted Cody to sing as the lead singer and have Dan play guitar and do backup vocals. So a couple of practices took place and a couple songs were created, but Daniel soon lost interest due to a lack of interest in playing music period, and different musical endeavors (He didn't like much metal music), so he quit the band. After that the band was back to square one and once again down to 3 people. Then along came Mark Burger in the blink of an eye coming to save the day. Nathan, Craig, and Spencer brought him over one day to rock out and see how Mark was, ............Mark was amazing, and thats the rest is history. Things started to pick back up and the band decided on the name Ireyerta and ran with it. They started creating originals of their own and started covering songs as well. Things finally started to take off. After awhile the winter months came and the band really started to die down, partially due to Cody living so far away in East Prarie and the fact that he was in another band (A Fatal Harmony). All the while our friend Dan however was seeing the light and realizing that metal music is where its at now and letting go of his passion for punk music, his taste in music was starting to change. Ireyerta was getting disgruntled and were kind of searching for a new singer. Right around the beginning of the summer of 2006 Dan confronted Nathan and told him he was interested in singing for Ireyerta. Nathan was open for the idea and had Daniel come to a practice right away. Nathan and the rest of the band were worried that it may not work out because Daniel could not scream in the past, but magically out of nowhere when Dan was rehearsing with the band he somehow found a deep scream inside of him and let it out freely! Without delay the band accepted Daniel back in the band and reunited as a whole to become the new Ireyerta and they started practicing and getting songs down and making new originals, Ireyerta had finally begun. They did their first show at the manhattan room on august 5th and have many in the future to come!

Hey guys! once again a great job Friday night. It sucks that there wasn't many people there. Hopefully, I'll get to do some shows with you guys in the future if I can come up with another band.
