I want to know how the universe works. How the human mind works. The things that I find myself trying to figure out the most are usually things that can never be figured out, or things that only time will teach.
Amélie, Howl's Moving Castle, Pan's Labyrinth, Troy, Gladiator, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Beauty and the Beast, Sleepy Hollow, The Zoolander, Kill Bill, Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Last Unicorn, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, Young Frankenstein, Interview with the Vampire, and anything with Gene Wilder.
Television
I don't watch television anymore.
Books
I don't read enough, though I love books. I like Anne Rice books. Interview with the Vampire is my favorite, of course.
Heroes
The patient, compassionate, and enlightened people of this world, and those who watch over me even when I can't see that they are there.
About me: Hi, I'm Genine. Let's see...I'm going to Ventura College and I am getting really into ceramics and digital art. I never thought I'd want a career in art, but now I'm beginning to change my mind. I'd love to be a teacher and a sculptor on the side. I don't ever want to graduate from college because I never want to have to actually start working. Hmm...I don't like to do a lot of stuff and I'd say I'm pretty boring to hang out with unless you really like doing nothing.
I love costumes and dressing up. I still trick-or-treat. Unlike most people, the older I get, the more vivid and inspiring my imagination gets. I love my boyfriend, but unfortunately he lives in England, so my top future goal right now is to move there and start a life together. I know that is cheesy. I don't care.
I love sleep. I fly in all the dreams that I have, which is reason enough to like sleeping so much. Dreams have a really deep meaning for me, and I probably take them more seriously than most people. I'm fascinated with the way the brain works, and I know that we are capable of so much more than our conscious minds even let on.
Who I'd like to meet: People who can teach me and help me understand things that I fail to realize. People who make me think and question myself. People who care about who I am, and not if I'm "cool" or "entertaining" to go to a party with when they're drunk.
I'd like to know people who are willing to put an effort in to me and aren't just there because they don't have anyone else to hang out with.
I am always inspired by imaginative, intelligent, creative, and kind people.
well, first off, I think going to Emerald City would be really cool(it's one of the only interesting places in Ventura anyway) and think some kind of doll-like theme might be kind of interesting depending on how we spin it
UGH. I have been in crazy mode lately but I thought of a few ideas for photoshoots if you needed thems! I dunno why, they just kinda popped into my head and I thought "Genine might like these"
I'm sure that'll lead to a lot of awkward moments when I dress as a RED Spy and run into Scout's Mother cosplays. And I've never seen Announcer cosplays before.
And those are most definitely MY idea's miss, including the nakedness, which is partially an illusion until it's not, haha.
Oh crap, that's true, I'm really sorry. I reformatted my computer the other day, so I'm going to dig around through my external hard drive for it tonight. I'll see if you're on skype after I find it, and I'll send it to you.
I still have the big prints too, I want to show you those. We should plan another shoot too, you're a very good model, haha.
That would be pretty amazing. Are you going to be RED or BLU? I remember seeing a really well done BLU female Pyro costume not too long ago online, I'll try to find it.
