I do listen to ZROCK occasionally.
I get most of my music exposure from local live performances and myspace bands wanting to play my Extremesportsrock venue. I audition alot of bands through myspace from all over the world who want to play an Extremesportsrock show and I love this!
It is so exciting to hear new bands in other languages rocking out and seeking out my little dog and pony show in the rural NorCal mountains................

There's something very cultural and native to me about going to check out "The Pub Scouts" authentic accoustic "Irish Music" once in a while @ Duffys on Friday afternoons. Once, the leader and founder of The Pub Scouts, Micheal Cannon, asked me to video tape their live performance there, that was fun....................

I'm starting to explore the Chico Hip Hop scene after going to the CAMMIES Hip Hop Showcase this year and being impressed by the positive inspiring lyrics and good grooves I heard at that showcase.
I'm crossing over from Rock into Hip Hop for dancing and I like music that has both styles incorporated together. I like postive lyrics in Hip Hop and absolutley can't stand Gangster Rap or Orgy Rap or any Rap that glorifies living in disrespect of yourself or others or your community.

Television
After 2 years of not watching any TV at all I recently started watching TV again. I recently discoverd a little gem called "VH1 Classic Metal Mania" and I am addicted! These are the best rock video's ever made. They have great Art Direction, A Good Sense of Humor, Sexy Rocker Dudes (and Rocker Babes),
Great Hair for Head banging, and some of the best music in RocknRoll ever. I love this stuff!
I also watch alot of funny and weird stuff like "Saturday Night Live", and I love "Myth Busters". I don't watch TV alot so I like unusual TV shows or something VERY FUNNY!
Books
I read Chico News and Review, The Synthesis, and other publications, but most of my reading comes from online activities. I really don't have much time to read a novel or something like that but maybe one day when my empire is built I can take more time to read more novels or maybe write one. I do read the Bible sometimes for inspiration.
