About me:

I'm graduating with a bachelor's in English with a minor in Creative Writing August 2009. I have just submitted two short stories and a poem to be published so I hope to get rejection letters back very soon. (Maybe I'll even get some ink! w00t!) I think I'm going to wall paper my office in them a la Stephen King before he got all rich and famous. I'm liberal, bohemian, a total freak, and a complete nerd. I also tutor and mentor junior high school kids. I love the little hoodlums. I love going to work and hearing them say, "Sup Ms. Erin!" Occasionally I even get them thinking about college. It feeds my soul. Then there's Deven. He's got to be the most beautiful and talented 8 year old on the planet. The writing thing seems to be hereditary. He writes amazing stories. He wants to be an actor and write screen plays. There is real potential for greatness there. I see it already. I'm also actively involved in my Community. I'm a member of a couple of different youth outreach and awareness groups. I take it very seriously but its also a lot of fun. ;) And then there's Ben. Life is good when you're dating an honest to gawd superhero. He makes my humanitarian efforts look like kid's play! (And he looks hawt in his fireman's gear. hehe)
