About me:
The Irish Times Pub and Restaurant opened on 23 January 2007. We are located at 11348 Parkside Drive and are open until 1 am through the week and 2 am on the weekend. Reservations for the restaurant are accepted at (865) 675-8800, which is the pub's phone number, and are strongly advised for parties larger than 6. It is our desire that everyone who enters our doors has a great time and leaves as a friend. We also believe that friends don't let friends drive drunk. Please let us know if you ever need a cab. In addition, we also check the IDs of everyone who orders an alcoholic beverage or dessert (mmm... Bailey's Cheesecake), regardless of age, in an effort to uphold all state and local laws. We proudly serve hand cut, aged black angus steaks, as well as an offering of popular Irish dishes. Come experience the Craic for yourself.
Who I'd like to meet: All of the local peoples who enjoy good food, fun and friends. We decided on myspace instead of a website because it is a place for friends and our motto is "Enter as strangers, leave as friends." Stop in and say hey some time, and remember that drinking responsibly is brilliant!
If your wife drives you to drinking, ask her to drive you to the Irish Times!
Hey Irish Times the band and I had a great time playing there this past Friday! Hopefully on stop we can play there again. The highlight was seeing John in a jumpsuit jamming with the band. See ya'll again soon! William Stiles
Joe the Show is playing with his full band at Rookies in Knoxville tomorrow night (Sat March 7) at 10PM. If you've seen Joe play an acoustic show before, be prepared for something completely different. Acoustic is fine, but every now and then you have to plug-in and rock the house! We hope to see you there!
As promised, here are the new tracks, fresh out of the studio! (Click the play button below.) As an added bonus, if you visit our ReverbNation site and sign up as a fan (no spam, we promise), you will be able to download "Leaving" for free! Hope you enjoy these songs and I look forward to seeing you at a show soon! As always, thank you for your support!
Hey ya'll...come out and catch Scott Houston tonight at Irish Times. Come have a drink and celebrate the 4th with some great classic rock music, as well as music from the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
Here's to all the fine folk at Irish Times! Thanks for having us and Thanks for the add. See you next (and every) Friday night!
Slainte!
