I have been working on the Tower Of Satan album again. It's been a long journey and this album has seen a few guitar players come and go, quite strange for an Iron Bitchface project to end up like this. Seems like this thing disappears for months to collect cyber dust on my harddrive, then resurfaces for a bit until I get distracted and record something else instead. This time I have a good feeling about actually finishing it moderatly soon though. These are tracks I am looking forward to playing live! How it will be released I am not sure, maybe when it is done it will remain on my computer to rot, or maybe I will find someone to help with releasing it. Maybe it will be you???
If anyone is interested in releasing material from Iron Bitchface get in touch with me!
More live shows in the future! My mind has been starting to wander and wonder about new places and I have been planning for some future adventure. If all goes as planned I will eventually be making my way out west and also to a certain destination overseas. If I do go out west I will probably need to look for a guitar player/travel companion to accompany me. I won't get too much into these plans yet since they are more ideas than plans at the moment anyways.
Iron Bitchface take influences from black metal, noise, punk, video games, and adventure! This project has been active in one form or another since approximately 2000 and has released countless CD-R demos and two CDs over the years. The project has seen numerous demos rank number one on local college radio, (dis)graced the covers of local papers, been featured on CBC radio and are known for their high energy and sometimes messy shows. Iron Bitchface have toured both nationally as well as internationally visiting countries such as France, England, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, The United States and of course all across Canada. When it’s time to party, Iron Bitchface parties hard!!!

words:
"IBF ended up being so much more than a mere metal band. In fact, barely a metal band at all, more some sort of metallic techno digital hardcore sort of thing. Needless to say, we LOVE it. And odds are you will too." -aQuarius Records
"This is, for all intentions, noise with a very blackened approach to the music. What we have is a demented yet playful atmosphere of harsh noise intertwining with some melodic avant-electronica and blackened vocals." -Heathen Harvest
"This CD is, for me, the Sgt. Peppers of our time." -Matt Collins/Wavelength
"Sounds to me like a tape if kid's song that somehow fell out of the car on the highway on a family vacation and suffered the horrible fate of being pummeled by cars, and then was one day discovered by an adopt-a-highway worker and was somehow made to play again ... IRON BITCHFACE FUCKING RULES!" -Green Records Reviews
"At times genius and at other times probably too genius for me to get it, Iron Bitchface delivers brutal electronic blast-beat digi-grind with sick black-metal-style vo-kills thrown into the constantly changing mix. Not formula driven, they push the boundaries of a genre that is already doing some serious boundary pushing." -Methamphedazine
"A real short attack of disturbing proportions." -WitchKunt Zine
"It’s like A.C. playing at an Alice Cooper garage sale." -EchoWeekly
"I'm often skeptical when people tell me that a piece of programming or a keyboard can sound evil or viscious. This not only makes the grade, but it raises the bar." -NeoZine
"What a bunch of unintelligible nonsense." -Metal Maniacs
"Make a blender full of cats sound melodic by comparison." -Sandbox
"Seven minutes is the perfect length, since that's roughly the maximum amount of time you can listen to Iron Bitchface before being overcome by the urge to rip your own ears off. For Iron Bitchface, that's the mark of a successful album. Iron Bitchface makes music the way Microsoft makes pasta -- that is, not at all." -The Record
"a serrated, dirtier version of the kind of next level step that industrial rock never had the balls or abandon to make" -Foxy Digitalis

hmmm...I'm not sure I do know three chords. At least not at the same time as when I'm vocalizing. I'll work it out...or not. Perfection has very little to do with motivation. Achievement is acheived through doing, not thinking....I think.
