I created Iron Cadaver in February 2008 because of my mission, to
spread the metal to all corners of the world. I have
created everything so far with computer-applications and
I am very pleased with the results, espacially when this
proves that metalmusic can be made with these sorts of
applications too, not only dance music. I do not have any-
thing against dance and hip hop and so on - i just dont feel
for it and feeling is something very important when it comes
to music.
The name Iron Cadaver is simply the result of my own brain-
storming. I was wondering about the name for a while and
wanted something brutal, something with steel or something
that really sounded extraordinary. After a couple of time I
realised that Iron Cadaver was a wonderful name and unique.
I checked the net several times and searched for bands who
could have taken that name but the results were negative and
I was relieved.
The choice of metal as my musicstyle is mostly based on my
musicinterest. I like bands such as Slayer, Judas Priest and
Metallica. When you like this kind of music it surely affects
your choices in the music buisness and that should be the most
impressive answer you have red in all your life I guess.
The bands lineup is simply me - Alexander Ask. I do all the work
with the music and my manager, Erik Roos, fixes the crapwork
such as managing the myspace-site, videomaking, line-up pictures
and commercials. It's surely a crap job that takes a lot of time
and I am glad I am rescued from that work. I am very pleased
with the current situation and hope that all will be too. I am
very productive so there will be a lot of songs that I will release
and publish for the community.
