"A chilly blend of wispy vocals, dark, poetic lyrics, and echoing, reverbed guitars over tight percussion, Iron Hero's sound is a taste of sheer shogaze-rock bliss" - Paste Magazine
"The music is often startlingly beautiful — awe-inspiring in the same way Hubble photographs portray an unfamiliar universe" - Delusions of Adequacy
"For a six-piece, the sound is surprisingly lean and muscular, with the rhythm section taking a prominent role in giving the songs an intoxicatingly propulsive character" - Tiny Mix Tapes
"These are dark, intricate songs born of post-punk mothers and synthesizer dads...Safe As Houses is a record with plenty of appeal for those willing to submerge themselves within its depths" - Cokemachineglow
"A thoroughly immersive listening experience that worms its way into your inner ear with nary a struggle" - IGN.com
"These songs could be huge and epic, but that might leave them feeling colder than they should be. Here they have just the right size and shape to keep you warm" - The Big Takeover
"Iron Hero achieves genuinely cathartic moments so gradually and naturally that the listener only realizes it once the music has stopped" - indieworkshop.com

Listen, a while back Jordan gave me some "tracks" (as they're called in the industry) full of your chopped up songs. I was supposed to remix them. It's literally been a year. I started one and it sounded bad and my computer kept crapping out on me, so I quit.
Since this low-point in my LIFE, I have gotten a new computer, moved to Chicago, and decided to stay inside so my nose hairs don't freeze.
(seriously, they do that here and NO ONE warns you about it until you've already made an expensive appointment with an ear, nose, and throat specialist because you are under the supposition that CERTAINLY your nostrils have turned into robot lasers and they are burning pirated copies of the 1988 comedy classic, "Short Circuit II" starring Tim Blaney as the voice of Johnny Five inside the innermost caverns of your FROZEN SINUSES.)
Point is, I am going to get started with another one and actually finish it. It's going to be loud. Of that you can be certain. I hope you're all well, and if you're ever in the mid west, let me know so that I can, once again, come get drunk at your shows and be annoying. Peace, fellas!
umm.. yeah. just.. yeah. thank you. really great show tonight, thanks to all for the good tunes and good times. it was great getting to see you guys. don't wait so long before you return plz. whole lotta love.
btw, 'the black blues' was the best live song i've seen in a good while.
