This is the latest experimental project by Boston drummer/engineer/producer Geoff Chase.
The idea is to establish little more than a song title (and sometimes a key signature and tempo), and to have all the musicians involved create and record their own parts individually, without any knowledge of what anyone else is doing. The resulting tracks will then be put together, more or less "as is" (with some minor editing, level adjustments, and effects processing of course). No one knows what it will sound like until it's finished!
