irr. app. (ext.) was formulated at the end of the 1980s, developed between 1989 and 1995 and finally made public in 1997 with the first release 'An Uncertain Animal...'. Various albums have been released, and various albums have not. The year 2011 marks the beginning of irr.'s 'Drive to 2014', during which every bit of broken crockery, each undotted 't', and all of the untied laces will be set in order; and at the end of which the full irr. archive and back catalogue to date will be in a presentable form. During it's existence, irr. has exchanged bad habits with Stilluppsteypa, R K Faulhaber, Nurse With Wound, Diana Rogerson, Sigtryggur Berg Sigmarsson, Jim Haynes, Thomas Carnacki, Faun Fables, Andrew Liles, Fovea Hex and various other sonic luminaries.
