Creating new facets to modern rock music Cleveland's own Irreality. Powered by heavy and tasteful guitar riffs written by Nick Party, with crafty, catchy, well thought out lyrics and melody by John Scott, Vocalist. These intertwined with the intricate rhythms of percussionist Mike Yencha and the funky bass and distinct sounds of Mike Ballou, create the progressive straight to the point sound of Irreality. The resulting sound is like placing today's rock music under a kaleidoscope-the familiar palette becomes a multitude of new flavors, the whole of which is more radiant then that from which it was born. Irreality has been playing Cleveland area venues since 2002. They have played at legendary clubs like Peabody's Down Under, the Odeon, the House of Blues, and the Agora, in addition to The Metro in Chicago and The Majestic in Detroit, among others. Audiences of every construct have found the band to resonate with them, and have been drawn to listen with a virtual disregard to their genre preference. In 2006, Irreality placed third in the National Finals for the Emergenza International Battle of the bands. Check it out...
