Irritation came into being after i (Befa), Denkan and Gren had talked seriously and numerous times about forming some kind of brutal punk/crust/grindband, most often when we were drunk at local bars and at various parties in our boring town. Nothing happened though, until at the end of July 2006 when i called them and wanted to know if they for real felt for doing crust-punk with some grind. .... Both were interested, so we met at my place July 30th, where i played my songs for them which they liked.Now the band Irritation was born! The week after we rehearsed from Monday till Thursday, and even recorded one song per evening, which resulted in a 4-song rehearsal demo. .... We kept on rehearsing and drinking during summer,i wrote new songs and picked up the oldies I've wrote in the middle/late 90-ties. .... Suddenly in the late autumn/early winter we where forced to take a break because of some rehearsal place problems... But I kept on writing new material and updated myself on all of the old tunes at home. In February-07 we got the shit going again... Crust n' grind Irritation way. .... In March 2007 we recorded "Demo 2007" in Studio Repan (our rehearsal room). A while after we were contacted by some minor labels and S.M.Y.T rec will re-release it as a full length album. We were also on some compilation CD-r and tapes. .... In May 2007 we played our first live gig at SP(A)TT,Göteborg.Then it was Sala Punkfest in June and Anarkopunkfestivalen in July. .... In the autumn I started to work on the "Lågbudgetturnén 2008" that took place in February/March the following year. We kept on rehearsing, grew as a band and drank a lot of beer n' booze. .... A cold November night Gren told me by a text message that he wanted to quit the band and I became furious because it was only 3 months to the tour but some days later i contacted Marcus Häll (Nödslakt) who then lived in Västerås and invited him for a drinking rehearsal. He was positive and wanted to try out for the spot. I sent him the demo as he should learn the songs at home first. .... A week later we met up at our rehearsal place and started to go through the songs.The more we played the more he loved it! Me and Marcus played/drank beer for about 4 hours and it worked out good. Then he sort of was in the band.GREAT! Marcus moved to a little village outside Sala, we met frequently and soon all the songs were tight and strong. We were ready for some live action! .... In February 2008 the "new Irritation" went out on the mini-tour "Lågbudgetturnén 2008" with From The Ashes, Dodeskaden and Avskyvärld. We played and raised hell around Sweden in 9 days but Irritation only played 6 dates because I had some problems with my right Achilles tendon that i ripped apart a couple of months before. It was a great tour with lots of drinking, smoking, crusting and mäska runt... .... After that we played Tranås, Märsta and Västerås in the spring 2008. .... In the following summer we recorded a Promo CD-r "Ny dag, Samma skit" at various locations in Sala and then played Broder Tuck, Stockholm in October. .... In spring 2009 we played a gig in Stockholm at the legendary Kafé 44... Cool place and good bands that we played with. .... In early April we went into Studio 7,2, Västerås with Jonas (From The Ashes) and recorded "Mäskolainen" promo which was re-recordings of 3 old songs,1 brand new track and 3 covers of G-anx, Skitsystem and Martial Mosh. The following weekend we played at Slakthuset, Nyköping. .... In the summer we played at SP(A)TT- festivalen, Sala Metalfest and War and hate festivalen. We also did 3 other gigs at Kulturkvarteret in Sala, Stockholm at Fullerstahuset and at Tärna Folkhögskola just outside of Sala. .... Since September we have unfortunately not rehearsed/played live for some different reasons but I'm writing new songs, looking for gigs, maybe a small tour and soon the band will deliver some new crushing Irritation crustpunk! /Befa November 2009 .... Marcus sent me a text message today and told me that he was leaving the band because he was tired of it. I have seen it coming after months filled with nothing but strange behavior, trouble and stagnation so I've already talked to some guys who are interested to try out for the spot so it shouldn't take to long before we're back as a strong three piece again! Fresh blood,New energy! /Befa December 29th-09 .... A NEW DRUMMER IS FOUND! .... F (Fredrik Andersson) from Bombstrike was here today and tried out for the empty spot so me and him played and drank beer for some 3 hours and it was great to meet him again and play the Irritation songs that i haven't done since early September! .... So now we are back on track and ready to conquer the world... No not really, but it feels good to have found a guy on such short notice who likes Irritation and can deliver some steady and groovy d-beat! CHEERS! /Befa January 16th-10 .... DENNIS LEAVES THE BAND! .... Today Dennis told me that he is leaving the band because the lack of time.This is his statement: .... "I wish I had more time for music than I have. I became a father in May, in progress getting out playing with my other bands and lives in another town so instead of being the break pedal in Irritation I will leave the band. There are no hard feelings and fights behind this and I wish them the best of luck and I know they will continue to grow and deliver some great crustpunk! .... I am sad about this but life goes on and I am sure that i can find some other crazy dude to fill in for Dennis. But it feels strange because me and him has always been a tight unit and understands each other so well, he is so easy learned like a robot/machine and a GREAT guy to hang out with! .... I have already asked around a little and we will see what happens in the near future. /Befa 15 august-10

Long time no see...

Nu va d länge sen jag skrev här men Fenok hoppade av bandet typ när han gick me i Massgrav så sen dess har jag legat lågt men gjort lite nya...
