About IRV IRVING

New York City based writer and singer Irv Irving has just completed his debut full-length recording entitled “Infamous”. The record includes appearances from Mr. Irving’s many friends such as Reid Burgess (King Wilkie), Samantha Parton (The Be Good Tanyas), Arthur Kremer (Stellastarr), and many more. The album will be released on a label to be determined.

Mr. Irving has shared stages with a diverse range of performers from folk music legend Ramblin’ Jack Elliott to the MTV hit-making art-rock act Stellastarr, and admirers of his evocative lyrical abilities include famed musician and political activist Pete Seeger. Irving is also the subject of an in-the-works documentary called “Irv Irving: A Hero For Our Time”.

When asked to name some of his primary influences in recent interviews on Tribeca Radio and BTR Radio Live Studio, Mr. Irving answered “P.T. Barnum”. Like the famous 19th Century hoax man who authored more than ten autobiographies, Irving may be difficult to pin down but is sure to cause excitement. .

I always did like 'What Will You Say to Me Tonight'- loved the harmonica fade out at the end -this new cut has a nice feel to it too. Bumped into Rhian in the crowd of Little Feet last summer. Huw (Tiny Tim sends his regards, and Tony's out there somewhere with light shining in his eyes - it's too much for him)
