Hi! I am a composer/pianist/accordionist/electronic musician. I like to take lush, intricate harmonies/textures and filter them through a variety of vernacular forms, including new wave synthpop, klezmer and Balkan folk music, Weillian cabaret, experimental jazz, and minimalism. I'm also really inspired by the Oulipo literary movement (Italo Calvino, Georges Perec, Raymond Queneau, etc.) and take more than a few cues from their mathematical precision, sense of humor, and labyrinthian cleverness.
