About Isadora Cortina

Hello!!! I am Isadora, I am 20 years old and I am proudly Mexican. I studied classical singing for 2 year (15-17 years old) with the teachers from the Mexican Army Choir, after that I was part of a concert choir (as soprano and soloist) which participated in national contest thanks to our winnings we were able to perform at ‘Palacio de Bellas Artes’ which is the most important place in Mexico City for opera interpretations. After that we went to other theaters through all Mexico to perform for the President and governors. After that I obtained a scholarship for an intensive course in Belgium which I could not accept for my passport condition (I was still underage). So I continued studying with personal trainers. The places I mentioned before as part of the choir, I’ve been in TV programs as guest, I won 3 talent contests at my university, did the main character ‘Aldonza’ in a musical organized by the choir I was part of, then I entered the cover band named Han Derien and started to sing in bars all styles performing songs from ‘Rock Lobster’ from the B52’s to ‘Bring me to Life’ from Evanescence and ‘Zombie’ from The Cranberries to give some examples. I was asked to record vocals for the German band Beyond the Void (now on tour with L’ame Immortelle) for their new single ‘Seductora’ and the song ‘Nihilism’ released during February 2008. A month later the song ‘Atrapada en Pesadillas’ with the Norwegian band Ancestral Legacy, where I wrote the lyrics, was released. October 2008 it was announced that I am the new singer of Ancestral Legacy and I am moving to Norway in 2009. Metal has always been an important part of my life and I will keep on singing as much metal as I can. Plus I am a language lover :D Guest appearances:

Wrath Of The Raven’s Dance	Jul 9 2009 7:29 AM Hi! Put together the first music video for one of the songs, that being for the song "Eel Marsh House", which is based on the movie "The Woman In Black". Wasn't sure to name it that instead of 'Eel Marsh..." ...Eel Marsh House being where the woman in black 'lived', and now haunts it. Though, she seems to haunt the general area of the village as well as the House. If anyone catches her gaze, looks into her eyes....a child will die, usually from the family of the person unfortunate to look at her.
