ISENNGARD started in 1997 as a solo project of Carlos Carrera at Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. In 1998 SENNGARD recorded its first demo in which the sound of the project was experimental, mixing ethereal and rock music elements with clean guitars traveling over violin melodies.
Not long after, the band got influenced by industrial music, distorted guitars, powerful melodies and aggressive vocals, but ISENNGARD kept looking for a unique sound.
Alfredo joins the band in 1999, and together they added new electronic, industrial and gothic elements to fulfill ISENNGARD with the darkness in their souls.

ISENNGARD nace en 1997 como proyecto solista de Carlos Carrera en Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. En 1998 SENNGARD graba su primer demo en el cual el sonido del proyecto era experimental, mezclando elementos de la música etérea y rock con guitarras limpias viajando sobre melodías de violín.
Poco tiempo después, la agrupación es influenciada por la música industrial. Guitarras distorsionadas, melodías poderosas y voces agresivas forman parte del mudo de ISENNGARD, sin embargo la búsqueda por un sonido único continua poco a poco adentrándose más y más dentro de el género Gótico.
Alfredo se une a la banda en 1999, y juntos agregan nuevos sonidos electrónicos industriales y atmósferas góticas completando así la esencia de ISENNGARD con la oscuridad de sus almas.
