tracy and the plastics, des ark, bellafea, tiny hawks, junior senior, bratmobile, emperor x, submission hold, elastica, the accident, flotilla way, teenagers, old people, middle-aged people, inhibitions and lack of inhibitions, cold duck, all you motherfuckers.
Sounds Like
outerspace guitar and hockey drums.
(or, really stripped down riot grrl-ish pop, I guess?)
(or, really very honestly, carnies at the state fair and aerobics instructors)
Isha is awesome. So is Zetta. That's all you need to know.
But in case you want to know more:
We are two Pittsburgh-loving ladies who have never played in bands before. We finally got up the energy, nerve, and sass to wrestle our inhibitions into a bag and tie it shut. We borrowed, rescued, and bought enough equipment to make some noisy noise, and learned for the first time ever to play music. We hope you like it, and we suspect you will.
We have a CD! It has ten songs, costs $6, and is a pretty good time. Recorded in under two hours over the summer.
Thanks for the add, the jangly sound is fun---I've always wanted to do a 2-peice band.
I used to be from Pgh, trying to bring the band back home to do a show---got anywhere you'd recomend trying to book? What are the good spots these days?
Although only 50% of Isha & Zetta could make it to the party this weekend, I'm so glad that you still totally represented! You're some busy ass ladies & the fact that you were able to come at all means the world to me. Thanks for love, sisters!
hey! Hope the rest of your weekend tour went well. You guys were great, everyone loved you! And thanks so much for the mic. I feel like we were a disaster for you guys...I hope you had fun and come back again anyway. Take care :)
