Guess we started off like all the rest, in the garage doing cover songs. We were in a couple of bands that never got off the ground. We were wanting to expand our musical interests in different musical genres but were limited in our band and the rest of the guys did not feel the same. Thus, my cousin Corn and I decided to create a new band that did it all. With the love of reggae, we started off with some reggae/ska songs with me taking on the vocal duties. But soon after that, we began to write even heavier material. Before you knew it, we had about 25 songs from reggae to ska to hard rock. We were lucky to come across John Alcala (drums) from Rio Rancho to help us complete the circle. We've been featured on 89.9 KUNM radio (SingingWire), 89.1 KNAW radio (Native Hours), and Albuquerque's public access television (Native Zine, TalkShowThis, Wrde Vehicle). We play the music scene in and around Santa Fe and Albuquerque so keep a look out for us. One thing we try to do in our music is have a little bit of something for everybody. We're basically just trying to write a good song. We hate to be labeled and feel music is music, no matter who makes it. Music knows no bounds, no barriers. So come enjoy a night of "roots, rock, reggae" with the boys from Ishen Tree.

Come join us for a night of sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll at The Albuquerque Press Club. Well...we have the rock and BBQ covered. The Old Main, Saving Damsels, Zoltan Orkestar, and Sleestaks will be playing a healthy blend of rock, rock, rock, and gypsy music? Don't be afraid. You will be dancing before you know it. And oh yeah...it's Zoltan's wedding partaaaay! The mustachioed, hungarian, bass strangler has been wrangled. Sorry ladies, no more personalized autographs. Sheesh!
