Out of the ashes of such luminous bands as The Fuctoobs and Hippie Hung Christ came Czolgosz. Started mostly by James and slightly by Keller, they began recording horrible songs on a sorry excuse for a 4-track in late 1997.
They went through a vast procession of bass players and for the first year or so the only place that would allow them to play was the dank basement bar at Jaques Cabaret thanks to friends like the August Spies and a Mr. Jason Treanor. Eventually they branched out to play even danker basements and in 2001 they went to Europe for the first of five tours. Over the years they would also drink enormous quantities of beer and various homemade liquor in South America and the Carribean as well. Presently they are on hiatus but keeping busy plotting new and exciting ways to drink for free (or at least cheaply).

ZARBOTH - Out February 27th!!!
Rising from the sophisticated underground of Paris, Etienne Gaillochet (drummer of Paris finest We Insist!) and Phil Reptil stumbled together for a blindfold project full of twisted rhythm, beautiful yelling and playful staccati. Yes, dear people! Another crazy duo. Interweaving Jazz, Rock, Noise and Pantera. A hell of a lot fun. A journey. A glimpse. Or to say it in Bill Hicks' words: It’s just a ride! So is Zarboth.
