It was awesome, estimates range from 20 - 80,000 protestors. There were people there spitting on us too, calling us cowards, faggots, traitors, and even imposters. I flipped out a number of times, almost lost it when a group of "College Republicans" came tearing through a crowd, we chased them off, fucking cowards. At one point the crowd stormed over a barricade toward the capitol steps and teargas was used to push them back. I ran around with a bullhorn for hours getting civilians to lay down with us and refuse to move, I yelled so much I almost black out. People were giving me water, movie cameras were following me, jesus it was wild man. I really did some good yesterday.
About 200 arrests
Thre were some forty or fifty IVAW's there. Hundreds of Vietnam Vets.
The "die-in" thousands joined us.
