iShta Music Co. is a record label that was founded in San Francisco in 2001 by Moustafa Omaran from Egypt. This label brings you from Alexandria to Roma to Paris and across the Atlantic to California with roots originating in many genres. iShta is a diverse, Multicultural Music Entity.
The label's first intended installment to the digital domain, "Sticks & Stones" by CAVE is a body of work encompassing elements of Experimental Hip Hop, Down Tempo, Lounge, World and Ambient. Following that will be the new E.P.from the Pyramidz 'From Cairo To Cali' ,an album through which the label seeks to establish it's tone, direction and street political agenda.
Currently in studio for more remixes of select music taste makers this summer, producer, Moustafa Omran a.k.a. Burnt Reynolds, is in collaboration with beatport.com's main stay Glitch house Diva and trend setting all around cosmic girl DJ DRC. Their new track entitled 'Hot' in addition to a down-tempo world track due for release in August entitled ' Breath My Friends' are just a taste of what these two can offer the ever changing music platform of digital music world wide today.
Viewers of M Tv's series The Real World may be familiar with the San Francisco based Music sensation Sugar & Gold ( see iTunes for more info on these cats)well in the spirit of San Francisco(one of love and openness) LATE NIGHT SNEAKin recordings asked our Omran for a remix and this May 2009 is when ' Shadow people' The Burnt Reynolds Remix made its debut on iTunes.
Also Burnt is reported to have started on a number of new remix tracks from stars like Maddona,Justin Timberlake, Timberlin, Byonce, The Heavy and last but not least trance's trooper super duper DJ PAUL OAKENFOLD.
