I really appreciate those who have added me, listened, and even bought my CD! Especially all of you gorgeous women! Would one of you marry me???

Ishur Ninku began as an outlet. I needed to express the moods and textures that were swimming through my head. I thought this would be a one time thing...
In the summer of 2000, I wrote the first two Ishur Ninku songs ("The Mystic" and "Shroud"). I really had no idea then, that I would actually complete a full length CD, much less a followup!
The Self Titled first Ishur Ninku CD (S/T) was the result of painless hours spent with sequencers, guitars, and anything else I could lay a hand on. It was simply the most pleasureful recording I've ever done. Rarely does the recording process go so smoothly and offer so little stress.
With S/T, I sought to capture an Eastern vibe. I had been reading a lot of materials on the Ancients and various prophetic utterings. Inspiration would come, and I would happily pursue it.
An outlet... Well maybe not anymore. In 2003 I felt the urge to write and record another Ishur Ninku CD called Shiva (the "i" is pronounced like the word "shiver" - the word is from the Jewish funeral ritual). This disk is not another Eastern influenced record. It has it's moments... But it is darker, more brooding, and maybe a little more atmospherical than S/T. In fact, I may have been listening to too much Tangerine Dream while writing it! Shiva featured a more textured and ambient approach.
In 2005 I released S/T and Shiva on one CD called Contemplation (A Collection). This compilation contains all songs from the first two CD's as well as two brand new, previously unreleased songs.
Ishur Ninku is a means to escape the rock and roll style of Sombrance that I spend most of my time on. It is an instrumental exploration into the electronic genre and a journey through ethnic, chill, and ambient sounds.

I just had a caramel orange rooibos tea in your cyber reading room cafe. :) Those are all great poems and passages, but 'The Doubter's Poem' really struck me.
Dear Mr. Ninku the clock is ticking down... time is of the essence - the eons are closing. Nothing will be as it was - tomorrow... I think you'll like it. Just open, add water - makes it's own sauce...
“Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
