www.Twitter.com/ISIStweet Isis King is a artist from Prince George's County, Md.After graduation of High School she moved to Pennsylvania where she attended the Art Institute of Philadelphia on a Full-Tuition Scholarship for Fashion Design. She stood out in school, became the Vice President of the school Fashion Club and graduated with the Industry Award for Best Evening Wear Collection in 2005. She then moved back home to MD where she worked full-time managing until she saved up enough money to move to NYC. Her first taste of the spotlight came when she first appeared on MSNBC's 'Born in the Wrong Body: On the Edge' documentary that aired December 2007. It wasn't until Isis was spotted by Tyra Banks as a background extra in a photoshoot for America's Next Top Model cycle 10 that her life completely changed. In a matter of 48hrs of getting a phone call saying she made the semi-finials of Top Model cycle 11 she quit her job, and left the shelter she was living at and boarded a plane for the first time. Isis King broke barriers by being the First woman of transgender experience to compete on the show and became the most talked, written, and blogged about ANTM contestant in history. Now Isis works as a Freelance Fashion Model, and a Motivational Speaker giving lectures about her Transition, Diversity, and Following One's Dream. Her background is in fashion design and sketching which is still her hobby, and she is now looking to break into acting where she can completely fulfill her Dreams of becoming a well-rounded world renowned Artist.
