With that in mind, the founder Mr. Cheddi Bradshaw knew there was a task to undertake. Entertainment should be available in every form, everywhere and for everyone. For that purpose Island Soul entertainment was conceptualized and brought into existence on November 2007.
Island Soul is different because it does not focus on one field of entertainment neither does it cater to one market segment. We undertake Event Promotions, Artist Management, Film, Music Production, Dance, drama, Pageantry and anything you could think of that falls under the entertainment banner. We realize that a person wants things to do and places to go and with this understanding we will build an empire that will lead the entertainment industry in The Caribbean and beyond.
Island Soul means life, energy, charisma, vision, struggle and triumph. So one must know that it was not an easy task to start but discipline and commitment bred success, thus, Island Soul Entertainment can boast of over a year of existence and accomplishments.
It began with the launch was held at Club Kactus in Birdrock, Basseterre on the 10th of November featuring Reggae Superstar, Alaine, and Nu Vybz International alongside other homegrown singers and dancers. One of the evening's highlights was the Island Soul Models presenting 'Locked up & Drown'. On this memorable evening, Island Soul Entertainment also chose to launch their biggest project at the time, the Miss Big & Beautiful pageant that was scheduled for December that year.
apart from our exclusive promotions, Island Soul Entertainment has collaborated with other promters in events such as, Aidonia Live in Concert, Soca Me Crazy, Passa Passa featuring Swatch International and more. Also collaborated with Caribbean vybes Magazine in promoting their gospel concert featuring Isaac Blackman out of Trinidad.
As we enter the year 2009, we are looking to a bright and productive future. Our overall aim is for growth in all areas of our business. We have plans of introducing three more major events to our calendar that would incorporate all the aspects of our business hence we will market ourselves as a company while simultaneously generating profits.
